We are a diverse population of students in a small public school in South Carolina. We work cooperatively with parents and the community to create an environment geared to the success of all students. I LOVE teaching first graders! They are curious about everything and eager to learn new things. The challenge for me as a teacher is to make learning authentic and meaningful in order to ignite this curiosity into a lifetime love of learning.
