My students and I spend about 30% of our day on the floor, and a classroom carpet will make our mini lesson and floor time even more special. The carpet that I have selected would fit beautifully into our class, but what's most important, is that the students will be more comfortable as we share stories, and talk about what we are learning. As of now, my students are often distracted changing positions to feel more comfortable, which takes their attention away from learning. A classroom carpet will facilitate our floor time during the 10 minutes of mini-lessons at the beginning of each period, also when we are watching examples of art and when we are reading. With your help my students will have a better learning environment that will help them achieve their learning goals for the school year. Your donation will be meaningful not only for my current students, but for the many students whose lives I intend to impact in coming years. Imagine a classroom setting where students can sit comfortably, and focus all their attention to the text at hand. Thanks so much for reading this. My students and I appreciate you.
