All of the students in are classroom want to learn ways to help them read even better. They love doing reading programs on the computers, listening to books being read, and read aloud time. So whether they are doing the reading, or books are being read to them they love it all. The iPads will allow the students to become successful in the classroom in many ways. They will be using them to help build phonic skills, listen to reading, practice comprehension, build on their math fact fluency, work on specific math skills, and many more things. I want to give the students in my class a chance to use their technology skills to build into their learning. I know they would love the chance to use learning apps in the classroom verses paper copies of skills. They already show a love for computers, so I know with iPads there would be even more excitement shown.
