These materials will give concrete experiences to the life cycle and metamorphosis of frogs. It will help them learn to care for living animals as the frogs and prehistoric "shrimp" come to life. We can share this study with the other preschool class in our school and allow my class to "teach them" what they are learning. These materials will give real life examples of what we read about, and will help them be able to visualize when we journal our experience! Documentation will be much more meaningful. This experience will give the children a love for science, hands-on learning, and development of animals.
