I have had the absolute privilege of teaching some of the most resilient children I have ever met. They are bright, engaging, and funny. I have a room full of big personalities and curious minds. My students come to school every day and show me what it means to persevere through the toughest of conditions. You see, my students are living in a severely impoverished community with very few supports or social programs. School is their safe place, their happy place. I hope that through DonorsChoose I am able to provide them with as many engaging learning experiences as I possibly can in their short time under my wing.
