I am raising money and asking for donations for my children whom are struggling for everyday necessities. We are eager to get our children shoes as they often come to school with holes and or damaged ones. It is truly disheartening to see our children with holes in their shoes as their peers make fun of them and they seem cold in bad weather conditions. No child deserves to live that way and so every little bit helps! Often staff members bring in their old shoes or unused shoes which is extremely generous, but there is nothing like having something that is your own and we would love to give them their own shoes. I’d love to get more pairs, but I am starting small and seeing the impact I can make. Our children live in a very impoverished area and it makes it very hard for them to succeed and excel. As a school we hope to help in any way we can.
