In the counseling and self-regulation office there are stations set up for students to utilize for learning how to get to calm, destress, take a break, and refuel in order to return to class focused and ready to learn. An ooze tube is a sensory object used in the mindful breathing station where they sit in the Big Joe Milano Bean Bag. There are a sensory touch and visual station where they can choose from fidgets. We have them sit on mats (areas that can be comfortable and suitable); each station is timed.
