This year I want to teach my students that not everyone is the same. I want them to know that they are unique and so is everyone around them. Diversity, inclusion and multiculturalism are pretty big words for my students! But I want them to learn them and understand what they mean. Each month we will focus on a book, like "How are we the same and different", that I've ordered and make it a class project to learn all we can from it. Then we'll use our new LilGadgets Headphones to research and make reports on what they found. My students need the knowledge of not just the words but the visual of investigating them, studying them and reporting what they have learned from them.
