My students come into high school without efficient organizational skills. This year, I plan to help them become proficient in using Microsoft applications, specifically OneNote in order to keep track of their work and to be able to access it anywhere. In order to do this well, students will need to be able to write legibly on the touch screens of the classroom laptops. Ultimately, I anticipate that students will be able to organize their materials better, with my assistance, and keep track of all of their notes, warm-ups, and projects efficiently. Without these styluses, students will not be able to take notes digitally, and we will therefore have to continue using paper to distribute materials, which students may misplace, tear, or decide to throw away when it is passed back to them.
