Reading rotations is a critical time of day for students and to maximize the time they get in each station, transitions need to be seamless. However, finding a place to store the many things my students need to learn is difficult. The materials I have requested will impact my students by allowing for better organization of their reading centers and supplies. My project requests allow students to easily access the materials they need on a daily basis so they can spend more time learning. My students often work in pairs or small groups, so having a class set of clipboards will allow students to move independently around the room to work and give them freedom to choose their spot. Additionally, having an 8 cube storage shelf, will make accessing materials a breeze for students because every center will have its own cube. For storing materials, the Sterilite Containers are simple to open for students and can be individually labeled, so my kiddos know exactly where to go and what to use. Finally, I requested 1 large pocket chart to list rotations and stations, so my students know which stations they need to complete daily. Having these materials will make a difference in my students everyday learning! Organization is an important part of every classroom because students need a consistent routine and place to look for their reading centers.
