Welcome! Thank you for stopping by! I teach 4th and 5th grades in a multicultural, low-income school that serves children from diverse backgrounds. I teach my students in 4th grade and then loop up to 5th grade with the same students. The additional year that I spend with my students helps me to know them on a much deeper level and we truly develop a sense of community and family. My classroom is a safe space where we focus on learning in the 21st century. Technology is an essential part of my students' learning. Collaboration and students constructing knowledge themselves is the style. Flexibility and choice help students to feel at home in their classroom and with their own learning. My awesome students deserve to have the very best materials and experiences during their academic journey.
