These hands-on math activities will provide my scholars with access to grade-level content that they would struggle to conceptualize with worksheets. These resources will also help to make math a fun and engaging part of our day while allowing scholars to use their imagination. Many of my scholars qualify for special education services with a deficit in math calculation, and rely on counters and other manipulatives when practicing addition and subtraction. I serve scholars in a Title I school that will greatly benefit from hands-on math resources. This will be a strong support for my scholars that are visual and tactile learners.
