I teach 7th grade math in Syracuse City School District, an inner city school with many refuge students. I teach classes at a variety of levels. I teach classes with Level 1 English Language Learners, classes with students with special needs, and classes with advanced students already completing high school-level work. My district focuses on personalized learning to meet all of our students at their level and bringing them up to close the achievement gap. My projects all focus on bringing a personalized learning environment to my students to help them succeed.
