The materials requested will help reach out to all the learners within my classroom. Some of my students are just beginning to learn their letters and numbers, while other students are reading early reader books and beginning to learn addition and subtraction. As a first year teacher and with very little materials, it has become difficult to teach each students unique learning needs in my classroom. The materials requested are perfect for one-on-one or small group instruction to meet the needs of my students. The donations of this project will help me reach out to each student in my classroom and their unique learning needs, so that each student can reach their fullest potential in my classroom. The linking chains, unifex cubes, and pattern blocks will be used to teach my students a variety of skills such as counting, color recognition, and patterns. The word building activities will help my students practice putting letters together to build words, and sounding out the letter sounds in the words. The magnetic numbers and magnetic white boards will be used during whole group and small group activities to help my students with number identification and basic addition and subtraction skills. Lastly, the fine motor writing and shape sorting will help my students who are at that beginning writing phase who need to strengthen their fine motor skills. All of the materials requested will be put to use in my classroom and will help my students reach their fullest potential
