I teach multiple subjects to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in a resource setting in West Virginia. My students are inquisitive, hands-on learners who often learn better from experience than from lectures and books. Although the resource classes are small, students have many challenges, including severe reading disabilities and autism. We are in a rural district with high poverty and few financial resources to help these students achieve to the best of their abilities.

About my class
