The first and most important cause of the project is to give students and teachers a place to safely store their lunches, classroom snacks, and any items for classroom celebrations such as birthdays. We currently have a very old (honestly, ancient) and dented refrigerator with missing shelves. It is often overflowing with food because we just need more space. Our school is a low income, high needs school in a neighborhood which is rapidly expanding. Please help us upgrade our refrigerator because it will make our students and staff very happy (and the student's ice cream for birthday celebrations will not melt)!
