This year my students will become young readers and writers using Fountas & Pinnell for guided reading, Rooted in Reading for comprehension, vocabulary, & grammar, and Shared Poem reading. These areas include colored posters and signs, activity titles and labels, a poem, vocabulary words with pictures, and standards to be learned. I would love to print these items in color and refer to them while teaching to show students the different areas of study. Viewing the colored pictures will be vivid and grasp their attention instead of a black/white copy.​ The cardstock and lamination will keep items sturdy and durable for long time use and student handling. I will use the Vis A Vivs to write on the items to be easily cleaned later. Students, as well as myself, will enjoy the brightness added to our Learning Wall as we engage in learning. The improvement will also add a glow to the area and make it more appealing to see. Our lives are filled with color & our learning can be too.
