I absolutely loved teaching fifth graders! I am an AVID Elementary teacher with 18 years experience. The students I will be teaching come from a wide variety of backgrounds, speak different languages, some have difficult home lives, and many struggle academically. The school that they attend is unique and only houses 4th and 5th graders. The students come every day with a smile on their faces and look forward to a day of learning. They soak up every minute of learning and strive for excellence. My students know that they will be successful if they put in the practice and effort. For many of my students being at school is their favorite time of the day.
