My students spend varying portions of their day in the general education setting with their typical peers, and often times the barriers to learning and relationship building stem from communicative issues - but technology has the possibility to change that! My students love reading e-books, using interactive educational websites, and interacting with the curriculum and their peers, in ways such as typing responses or using text-to-voice technology. Technology has the ability to break down barriers and create connections we never thought possible! The possibilities for learning and communicating are endless with the technological capabilities of iPads! These iPads will be used for student-to-student communication, independent work centers, a form of student participation in the classroom, and more!
