I work with students who have mild to moderate learning disabilities in Manhattan KS. Many of my students spend the day doing tasks that are difficult for them with little time if any to put toward their strengths. If my project is funded, I will have a bicycle "repair" shop, where some of my students who like to work with their hands can work on bikes during school. When the bikes are ready to go we would donate them to students and people in the community who need them.
