About my class

Being at a new teaching position, working with all students in grades k-8, requires a lot of materials. The materials I am requesting would help immensely. The map in Spanish will help students get familiar and learn the names of all the Spanish speaking countries in the world. The flags, maracas and papel picado will provide students with the feeling of entering a Spanish speaking land. The white boards will help keep the class more engaging. Students like to write on small white boards, especially if it is to show their knowledge in a competition. The headphones will be great for when students get the opportunity to use computers. That way they can concentrate on their own work. Having a storage cabinet, as well as the different organizers, will be very helpful to help maintain track of papers from more than four hundred students. The napkins and sanitizing wipes are essential in a classroom for cleaning. The computer would be a great tool for us to have in the classroom. Even though I couldn't request it, I would also love to have a set of thirty Chromebooks or iPads for my class. There are a lot of apps that make learning a foreign language fun, engaging and interesting. As I mentioned, teaching over four hundred and fifty students means that a lot of materials are needed.
