I teach at a Middle School, grades 6 - 8. I teach mathematics to 6th graders. My students are low income, and our school is a Title I school, receiving federal monies, providing free breakfast and lunch to all students. Students are predominantly Hispanic, English Language Learners (ELL). We have a large population of Special Education students, including moderately severe students. Students are very social, outgoing and have a thirst for knowledge. Provided the appropriate tools for success students at Knox are the leaders of their community.

About my class
