My students are passionate and hard-working learners. The class that these calculators will go to has chosen to complete Algebra 1 as 8th-graders rather than going with the standard curriculum. They understand the value of math and are willing to push themselves to get ahead. These ambitious learners deserve every opportunity to learn but they need the right supplies to find their success! Graphing calculators in the classroom will enrich my students' understanding of advanced mathematical concepts, increase the rigor of the classroom and provide equal opportunities to learn among students. This project is an investment in these students and many to come, as the calculators will be used in math classes in our school for many years!
