Our school has a diverse population of about 575 students. Some students have access to computers and e-readers at home while many others do not. Increasingly, the gap is widening among students as the use of technology is expanding at a phenomenal rate. When talking with my students, I am often amazed at the differences among them regarding their knowledge of and access to current technology. Many are at a clear disadvantage.
