The use of tablets is almost a daily activity in my students' learning, especially in the circumstances that we are currently faced in. Using the tablets, students will be able to not only complete their work, but will also have the ability to reach out to me through many virtual online teaching outlets and video calls. The tablets allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an ease for me because they will be able to complete their work. What becomes a problem is the fact that our district doesn't have the resources to provide every child with a tablet, our materials are limited, and my students are suffering because they do not have any computers and/or tablets to work with at home. When something, like what we are faced with, goes awry; my students do not have have the same resources provided to complete their work, on top of struggling to get a new eraser, or a paper and pencil. Even though they are doing what they can, it is disturbing for many of my students who do not have access and are missing important instruction form either myself or other students. By having a tablet, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning! By donating to our project, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement during this crazy time that we are currently in. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and what is going on around them. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn with the same resources as every other student!
