My kids (students) are special to me because they have a rich, wide tapestry of diverse cultural/ethnic/racial/religious/socio-economic backgrounds. In addition to their differing backgrounds, my students come to art during their "specials'" time with vast, varying abilities. Some of my students have tactile issues, so they need other art media and tools to create with due to their individual, sensory needs and sensitivities. I would love to continue to build a welcoming and educational environment that gives my kids (I teach all of the students in my elementary school.) more positive learning opportunities, experiences and outcomes.
