During reading instruction, I directly work with one small group (6-8 kids) while the other groups are working independently at stations. Because of the range of ability levels (K-5th grade reading levels), it is becoming more and more challenging to meet the needs of all of these students. Being able to have students work on iPads at one of the stations would greatly impact their reading growth. Having 5 iPads will help me to assign students books, lessons and apps that are at their specific reading level to help them continue to grow and have a successful fourth grade year!
