My school is diverse in many ways. We have students from a range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. After graduation, some plan on going to college, while many will pursue jobs and the military. Over the last few years we have had a significant increase in students taking Advanced Placement courses and a large percentage of students will graduate with Career and Technical Education certificates. As a district we lack funding for significant increases in technology and this presents a major challenge in getting students excited and interested in actively participating in learning.
