I get to teach music to over 400+ students a week, ranging from Kindergarten all the way to 6th grade. We focus on building practical skills that help students create their own music at home! We learn to read music notation, use notation software, play and sing instruments at the same time, and create/perform songs that express us and our community. Our students are extremely creative. Whether they're doing an art project, something for STEAM night (A is for ART!), doing creative writing in class, or performing a song, our students love to participate in creative projects and collaborative learning.
