We have a broad diversity of students in my school. We are classified Title 1, have a high free and reduce lunch percentage, and a high ESL population. Many of my students do not have access to computers or technology at home. They love and crave to work on or with any technology. It is a fun and exciting way to get kids motivated to learn and participate. My students are racially diverse, many are being raised in a single home environment, many by their grandparents, living on food stamps, and students in the foster care program. I have a very lively and fun group of students in my classroom. At this time I have 18 students in my classroom. Our student population is consistently changing due to the low income status. We have students fluctuating in and out of our school all of the time. Sometimes parents are forced to find cheaper housing, get evicted, etc. My students are eager to learn, and love to read. They are one of the joys of my life.
