My classroom is full of eager to learn second graders. They are full of imagination and wonder and I get the privilege of listening to their amazing stories and ideas every day. Our school is located in a rural farm community and the majority of my students come from low-income, bilingual, and migrant families. Despite the daily life challenges they face at home, they come to my class every day with a smile on their face ready to learn. I want to be able to enrich my students' minds through educational opportunities and provide them with the best possible experience. The word "can't" does not exist in our classroom vocabulary because we work on a growth mindset. Instead we use words like "not yet" because we know that if we work hard we can achieve anything!
