Any of the following flexible seating options will give my students the opportunity to move and wiggle while still being able to focus and on task. Having various types of seating in the classroom, students are free to make a choice of which seating option is best for their learning. By giving them a choice, I am helping them begin to learn how to make appropriate decisions in order to make them more successful in the classroom. It will teach students how to be responsible and encourage them to work with others, building a positive learning environment. The balance balls will allow students movement while still giving them back support. The lap desks will be used by students who prefer to work on the floor, while the donuts will give students the opportunity to work at a lowered table.
