My students learn best when able to discover for themselves - no one likes a boring lecture! This project will allow each lab group of students the time and resources to explore the microscopic world around them. Cordless microscopes and quality prepared slides will allow students to access learning from anywhere in the classroom. My students will be able to observe different types of cells, make observations and comparisons, and discuss ideas with a small group of peers. They will work in collaborative lab groups to understand and explain the basics of cell theory. This project will allow them to become true scientists!
