My students need alternative seating through five Gaiam Balance Balls Chairs and six Kore Patented Wobble Chairs, which allows them to move, improve their focus, and enhance learning! Keeping students engaged is one of many challenges teachers face on a daily basis. (As an adult sitting through meetings, I can sympathize with how hard it can be to sit still and concentrate in a classroom!) However, research has proven when students are able to participate in physical activity they are better able to focus in the classroom. My students only have a short amount of time with me for extra help each day, so every minute counts! However, with an alternative seating option my students won’t have to sit still any longer. I can’t wait for the day when my students walk into the classroom, surprised by a new set of Gaiam Balance Ball Chairs and Kore Patented Wobble chairs! Thank you for your time and consideration! Each contribution will directly support my students and their learning.
