At our school, we service nearly 300 special education students. These students have unique needs that change the way they learn and participate in the classroom environment. We want to provide students with all of the tools necessary to make their classroom experience engaging and rewarding. Simple tools like foot bands, visual timers, wiggle seats, and fidget toys make a huge difference for students who struggle with attention or have sensory needs within the classroom. With use of these tools we have seen increased focus and motivation, decrease in behaviors, and an overall positive impact on classroom performance. Being able to provide these tools for all of our students will make such a difference in their classroom experience!
