This project will bring about a new opportunity to share history and geography with my students. With the world constantly incorporating iPads into everyday life, it is important that we keep up within the classroom. I want to make sure that my students are able to keep up with the every changing world. Being from a small, rural town, technology is one of the best ways for my students to experience the world around them. We are able to use apps and websites that allow them to tour museums or famous places around the world. They create their own media, allowing for the differentiation that helps students succeed. Lastly, my students also compete in History Fair. This is an added opportunity for them to do a new activity and branch out to something new. We are always competing against schools with more resources, but when a group is able to use our one iPad, they always receive high marks for incorporating technology. I hope to give more of my students this extra chance to succeed.
