My school sits in a community filled with hunger, drug use, and poverty. Many students come to school and find the only peace and safety they will feel for the rest of the day. Our school is larger, with 750 in attendance. We strive to make the large feel small. We focus on classroom families. My students have little to no academic support at home. Our entire school receives free breakfast and lunch.
