Our first grade classroom is a constructive and hands-on environment where students are encouraged to take risks and not be intimidated by rigorous expectations. We have 21 incredibly talented students in our class including some who are overcoming learning disabilities daily. We belong to a very small, one traffic light city school system and it is one of the best in the country. Our community values learning and supporting one another in all that we do. My goal as a teacher has always been to make students feel loved, safe, and engaged in the classroom. Learning can be fun! This is where donorschoose.org comes in. What a fabulous resource we have in this program! Receiving funding for necessary projects is imperative when budgets and resources are limited. Our projects can be funded fully through generous donations, prayers, and great support from friends like you!
