Our school currently has 2 computer labs to help our students learn in Technology and Engineering classes but what if we could expand that to include ELA, Social Studies, Math and Science? What if our students could search to learn about Greek, Roman or Mayan times or dig deeper into learning about our Solar System? What kind of projects could they envision if they had the technology to help them create presentations, videos, reports and more? By having a full class set of 24 Chromebooks, we could have the technology move to each classroom and help the students create in ways that just aren't possible right now. We currently have 15 Chromebooks and are working to bring this up to a full class set. Having Chromebooks that can move around the school, allowing every teacher to implement exciting and new lesson plans for their students, changes the game on what students can learn. They can now focus on creating better projects with more facts and information to fill them with. They can learn how to create to scale or they can learn how to properly format a report or presentation. It would truly even the playing field for each and every student along the way.
