The materials chosen will be used to provide flexible seating for the students and to aid in instruction. Currently, the classroom has little whiteboard space, so the adhesive whiteboard material would be used to provide more space for instruction. There is also very little space within the classroom, so flexible seating options such as a rug, pillows, and cushions would provide more comfortable options for the students. Lastly, the students are diverse, but they have few opportunities to see themselves within the materials. The diversity kit will provide students with opportunities to celebrate the beautiful diversity we have in our classroom and world.
