I teach kindergarten at a urban Title 1 school where 100% of the students receive free lunch. My students are from various backgrounds right outside of Detroit, MI. My students understand the importance of their education & they want to be successful more than anything. They understand that learning time for learning & play time is play. However, there are many outside factors that affect my students' learning & plays key factors in their lives. My students know from the first day of school that I believe in them & I will do everything I possibly can do to help them grow as learners & as productive citizens of society. All I ask from them is to try their best. They are the some of the sweetest, funnest, caring people I have ever met. They enjoy learning & following our classroom routines. They enjoy playing learning games & doing small group activities. They like helping each other when they can. They really are some of the most amazing people I have worked with in my life.
