These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because they can use them as part of a lesson or an activity no matter what kind of lesson I am teaching. We would use these materials to identify numbers and letters and spell sight words by cutting them out with the dough cutters. We would also use the paint in many different kinds of lessons and center stations; for example: they could use paint to "write" sight words and math problems. It could be used for identifying main events and summarizing a story by drawing a picture about it. It would also be used for paint by number worksheets and to add color to their crafts. It is also a fun alternative to using pencils, markers, or crayons and will help keep them engaged and learning.
