Using math manipulatives, task cards, foldables, doodle notes, games (physical and virtual), graphic organizers, bundles for specific key topics, file folder games, escape games, spiral review, center work, printable charts and more will make it much easier to understand hard to visualize concepts for my special needs or learning disabled kiddos. Giving them activities that are highly engaging often have a better chance of children behaving, paying attention and actually focusing over traditional book work. I have students that work on skills from 1st grade up to 7th grade skills.
