As a first year middle school teacher my main aspiration is to create a classroom environment and community in which my students are comfortable and have all the resources they need in order to be successful. This is where the organizational supplies such as book racks and shelves come in. I have also added hand sanitizer in order to promote cleanliness and good hygiene! One of the main resources we need are books! Students will use reference posters about punctuation and literature posters for reference when we are writing narratives in our classroom and learning to develop more complex writing skills. The book packs will be used in order to allow students to advance their reading levels and meet Accelerated Reader point goals and requirements. The globe and wall map will be used for reference in social studies in order to provide different visuals that students will be able to connect to.
