These flexible seating options for my students already have a purpose in our room! In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. My kinders are just starting off in school and are figuring out how they learn best. These options will help motivate them, let them wiggle, and keep them engaged throughout the day. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! These are just a small part of the big picture. Once we've had a few weeks for each student to try out each seating option, students will then have the opportunity to choose their smart spot for the day. That's right -- I'm going to let my kiddos make their own choice on where they will work best for the activity we are doing! It could be crate seats, stools, wobble cushions, stability balls, pillows, the carpet, or lap desks. Students will get to choose! By implementing flexible seating in my classroom, my students' engagement and overall autonomy in our space will aide them in their journey of being life-long learners. As the teacher, I have done extensive research and reading on flexible seating and I absolutely believe in its power. I would greatly appreciate your support to make this a reality for my students. Thank you!
