I have 18 wonderful 4th grade students from a variety of backgrounds. My students come from an urban community and come to school each day excited to learn and have fun in my classroom. Some of my students need modifications (increase or decrease work) daily and I work hard to make sure that all my students needs are met. My students are excited to learn and I'm working on instilling my love for reading in my students. I have many students who are struggling readers and I'm looking for opportunities to foster their growth. In my classroom I try to incorporate as much technology as possible to engage my students learning. I use a variety of different learning strategies on a daily basis and love to try new things to keep my students going. My school is a wonderful school that is supportive of my learners. I'm a brand new teacher and have to use what little money I have to create a classroom library.
