My students are very intelligent children that go home to rough situations. I try to love them out of the mindset they come in with. It is very much so a struggle to see the things we deal with within the public school system. I try my hardest to be the light I want to see them become one day. My love is genuine for the children I work with. I've cried some days from seeing the results of home lives and I've called and encouraged many parents. It is our job, as educators, to do so much more than educate. It has to be a calling for each instructor. I strongly believe it is mine. I love what I do simply because I can help children realize there is another life that can be attained (If you want it and work for it). There is more than what you see at the end of the tunnel. I can help you get there, but you must want it first. My school doesn't have a lot of resources. This where I am hoping your support comes in :-)
