The students in my classroom always ask to sit in the corner of my room titled, "The Cozy Corner" because they absolutely work better when their bodies are comfortable. However, that area is currently only a decorated file cabinet with pillows, Christmas lights, and a shower curtain, fitting only two students. The various flexible seating items will help students with stations, gallery walks, and student engagement. In many of the activities we do in my language arts classroom, the students have to move all over the room, and regular desks aren't conducive to our projects. The new seating will give students a more comfortable learning environment, and will allow them choice in their seating rotation.
