My school is a public charter STEM college preparatory school located in Silicon Valley. I teach brown students and we are one of the few schools in which AP Computer Science is required for high school graduation! My students have grown far more in computational thinking than I would have dared imagine. My student, JC, says "I like it because since tech is really taking over, you get to use it in a fun experience. It brings people together in like-minded groups. Although it is challenging you push yourself. There are different ways of doing it. It puts your brain in a good position of testing yourself."
