Students receive activity trackers from UNICEF kidpower. These devices are wristbands that count their steps and tells them how many points they have earned. These points translate into food packets for malnourished children across the globe. Therefore, the benefit is twofold: it gets my students moving, encouraging physical activity, while This enables them to get moving and do good for others at the same time. Students love knowing they are doing good, and their families love that they are getting active. Students keep track of how many packets of food they have donated, and are able to participate in missions, led by various athletes and entertainers, enabling them to do even more good.
